Body Temple Pilates specializes in creating lasting results using a combination of proven Pilates exercises, and medical knowledge.

Every teacher at Body Temple is extensively trained in the Pilates method. They are required to hold PMA recognized certifications, and continue their studies with rigorous and accredited continuing education programs.

JEnnifer MAPALAD, OWNER

 

Jennifer graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing; her expertise includes critical care, Level 1 trauma, recovery, pain management, and rehabilitation. Her own experience taught her Pilates was a powerful method for finding better health and wellness, and she wanted to bring it to others.

Jen began her Pilates education in 2004 and became certified with the Physical Mind Institute and Body Arts and Science International (BASI) soon afterwards. She is a Fletcher Pilates® Qualified Teacher and Faculty member and a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA®) Certified Pilates Teacher.

With a strong focus on using her medical training to inform the work she was doing, she continued her studies with Trent McEntire, and completed Arcus training 1 &2, as well as the Arcus Hip and Knee replacement training, and McEntire Neuro-Movement training. Additionally, she has completed the Elizabeth Larkum Facia In Motion workshop/training 

Jen opened the Body Temple Pilates studio in Indianapolis, Indiana in May of 2007 and has devoted her time, compassion, and expertise to making the studio a place for clients to experience personal and physical growth, with a focus on lifelong functional movement and rehabilitation.

CINDY MARSHALL

Cindy Marshall is a native of Rockford, IL. She is very passionate about health and fitness and continues to expand her knowledge to better serve her clients.

She has completed the Fletcher Pilates Comprehensive Program, in addition to several other Pilates certifications, and is a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Health Coach, with a specialization in exercise nutrition.

Cindy believes Pilates is for everyone, whether you are just getting started, a professional athlete, or recovering
from an injury or surgery; everyone can benefit from Pilates.

In her free time, she enjoys running and working out on her own.
