Utilizing Pilates as a form of pain management is as powerful as the work you put into the practice. Many times new clients as the question, “How many sessions until I’m fixed?” We are always tempted to answer, “Let me consult the Magic 8 Ball.” Pilates is an active healer not a passive one. It requires being in the moment to push yourself outside of your norms in order to forge the changes of working efficiently. Professional direction and guidance are required however to turn the exercise practice into functional fitness, work outside of the studio and self-practice are essential.
